01The brief

A scarf with a story, on a site that didn’t tell it.

Wrapped in Truth is a scarf brand from Grapevine, Texas, run by its founder, Eli Munroe. Every scarf carries four lines: you are loved, you are beautiful, you are enough, you are chosen.

Eli came to me a few weeks after launch. Before any design work, I ran a detailed analytics review of the existing site to see how people found it and where they left. She wanted the site to reach people beyond her own circle, to read like a fashion and lifestyle brand, and to be ready for boutique buyers ahead of a trade show in January.

I kept the site on Squarespace and reworked it from the inside: the order of the homepage, a product page that does the selling, a shop structured for six colourways, and the route from an Instagram link to the basket. Fully responsive on mobile and desktop.

02The approach

Her story first, then the scarf.

The brand’s strength is personal, so the pages lead with it. The homepage opens on Eli in the scarf, then the six colours, the four truths and why she made it. A new Our Story page tells it in her own words.

03The trade side

A wholesale page that answers a buyer’s first questions.

Boutique buyers get a page of their own: the collection at its retail price, the trade terms set out in full and a retailer application form. The contact page answers the common questions before anyone has to ask, from gift-wrapping to the size of the scarf.

04The outcome

A shop Eli can run herself.

The refresh went live in about two weeks. Every product now has its own search title, description and web address, old links redirect to the new ones, and the review request and abandoned basket emails run on their own.
